Frank Melton lives in a gated northeast Jackson community on a gated street in a mansion surrounded by a gate.
He pays taxes in Jackson and is a registered voter in Hinds County but has filed homestead exemption on a Texas home.
Is Melton a legal resident of Jackson? That’s an interesting question.
It’s unfortunate that the Democrats shirked their responsibility in answering this question before placing Melton on the ballot.
