The final campaign finance reports for the 2019 election season are in

The final campaign filing deadline for the 2019 election cycle was Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. See how the candidates came out in finances raised.

GOVERNOR

Republican candidate for Governor, Tate Reeves, brought in $1.5 million in contributions this period, with $2.5 million in disbursements. His total cash on hand between both of his campaign accounts is at $2.3 million. He raised a total of $10.9 million in the campaign cycle.

Jim Hood, Democratic candidate for governor, showed a total of $1.9 million raised this period with $2.1 in disbursements. He had a final cash on hand of $556,740. Through the campaign Hood brought in $5.4 million.

Candidate Bob Hickingbottom, a former Democrat who has been vocal about his distaste for the party’s selection in Jim Hood, reported a total of just over $8k in this period’s contributions. He showed $8,612 in disbursements, leaving his cash on hand at $767. His total money raised throughout the campaign equals just over $19k.

David Singletary who is running as an independent reported $300 raised this period, with a total of $8,395 in disbursements. His total amount raised during the campaign is just over $29k. Total cash on hand for the final campaign finance report was $0.

LT GOVERNOR

Current Secretary of state Delbert Hosemann, who is running for Lt. Governor, reported a total of $411k during this period with $1.4 million in disbursements. That leaves his total cash on hand at $1.67 million. He raised a total of $2.8 million during the campaign.

Democratic candidate, Jay Hughes, raised a total of $84k this period with a total cash on hand around $9k. He has raised a total of $1.2 million during the campaign, $1 million of which was put in by himself.

SECRETARY OF STATE

Senator Michael Watson, who is running as a Republican for Secretary of State, reported a total of $83k raised this period with right at $45k in disbursements. His total cash on hand was $98.7k. He raised a total of $534k during the campaign.

Democratic candidate for Secretary of State, Johnny Dupree, reported a total of $10.6k raised during this period. His total amount of disbursements came to $10.6k. His final cash on hand was negative $3.5k, he raised a total of $73.5k during the campaign.

ATTORNEY GENERAL

Treasurer Lynn Fitch, now running for AG, reported raising $333k this period. Her total disbursements came to $211k with a total of $342k cash on hand. Fitch’s campaign raised a total of $1.3 million prior to the election.

Jennifer Riley Collins the Democrat in the race for Attorney General reported raising $94k this period with a total of $58k cash on hand. Total disbursements for this period came to $122k. Riley Collins raised a total of $373k throughout the campaign.

TREASURER

Candidate for Treasurer, David McRae reported a total of $52k raised in this period. He had disbursements of $122k and a final cash on hand of $90k. He raised a total of $1.9 million during the campaign cycle this year.

Addie Green, the Democratic candidate in the race for Treasurer, received a loan of $1,680 this period. Her total cash on hand was $685. She raised a total of just over $2k during the campaign.

COMMISSIONER OF AGRICULTURE

Andy Gipson, current Commissioner of Agriculture, raised a total of $7,850 this period with $70k cash on hand. His total disbursements equaled $6.8k. Gipson brought in a total of $122k during the campaign.

Opponent to current commissioner, Rickey Cole, raised just over $10k this period. His final cash on hand was $57k with $12k in disbursements. He raised a total of $84k throughout the campaign.

INSURANCE COMMISSIONER

Mike Chaney, current Insurance Commissioner reported $17k raised this period with a total of $53.5k in disbursements. His total cash on hand was $209k. Chaney raised a total of $207k during the campaign.

Robert Amos for Insurance Commissioner reported no contributions this period and no cash on hand. He raised a total of $19k throughout the campaign.

Polls open at 7:00 a.m. on November 5th and close at 7:00 p.m.
