Remember to judge Newton on how he plays the game and keep rumors on the sidelines

Let’s not complicate things here. The Heisman is an award given to the nation’s “most outstanding college football player,” selected by an electorate choosing from a pool of eligible players.
It took a four-year investigation to determine that Bush was ineligible during the 2005 season in which he won the Heisman. With that as a recent example, no individual should take it upon him or herself to pass premature judgement on someone’s collegiate eligibility.
