Florida’s runners are a poor fit in SEC
Look at the running backs elsewhere in the SEC, Coach, and you will see bruisers who punish defensive players instead of gimping out with bad ankles. You didn’t have running backs at full speed for this game because you recruited a group of talented tiny dancers who fit your scheme.
Coach Spurrier said that he and his staff just had to coach ’em up a little better, but you blame the players you recruited for the failures of the team and the coaching staff you put together. The fake field goal by LSU cost us [Florida] the game and it did not seem that our players were coached up for that possibility. If you want to maintain any respect from the Gator Nation, win or lose, stop blaming the kids.
