‘Eight ain’t enough’ for Auburn
The Tigers won eight games in Gene Chizik’s first season and are coming off a top-5 recruiting class nationally.
But senior linebacker Josh Bynes made it clear Friday that last year was just the start.
“Eight ain’t it. Eight ain’t enough. That’s been our theme all offseason,” Bynes said. “It’s something Yox (strength coach Kevin Yoxall) came up with. We want a lot more than eight wins this season and have put in the work to get there.”
In particular, Bynes said the Tigers will be a deeper team and said it’s obvious from summer workouts that the freshmen will help fill in the gaps.
