Georgia’s Green did not attend agent’s party

The NCAA requested that Georgia officials, coaches and players not comment on the inquiry, which is thought to focus on dealings between athletes and agents, until the probe is completed. Green declined comment during his Media Days news conference, but in a smaller setting, he told a group of writers that he had not made that trip.

“We can’t make any comments about it, but I’ve never been to Miami,” he said.

Photos posted on what is reported to be Green’s Facebook page show he was at his home in Summerville, S.C., at the time of the Miami party.
