On-the-mend Bailey could be key for Eagle D
A torn tendon in his left ankle knocked Bailey out of the New Orleans Bowl loss to Middle Tennessee State and kept him out of spring practice. The injury did not require surgery, but he was in a cast for two months and a protective boot for another month.
“I’m about 90 to 95 percent, and I want to be 110,” Bailey said. “I did a lot of pool work and a lot of praying. I didn’t have surgery or anything. I was just depending on my body to fix itself.”
