Rebels must develop playmakers on both sides

Leaders are gone at almost every position, but those same leaders unraveled in the face of last year’s sizable expectations. Quarterback Jevan Snead, playmakers Dexter McCluster and Shay Hodge, offensive lineman John Jerry, cornerback Marshay Green, safety Kendrick Lewis and defensive end Greg Hardy led the Rebels to a 9-4 season—not enough to validate the consensus top 10 preseason ranking.
Ole Miss now moves forward with serious holes to fill, but with a renewed spirit.
The Rebels must rely on experience on the offensive and defensive lines along with a bruising running game behind 220-pound Brandon Bolden, who was productive the last two years with 1,156 yards on an average of 5.1 yards per carry.
