Alabama’s Greg McElroy has waited out Tim Tebow before
As if anyone needed another reason to convince football players of the need to get a college degree.
The last three starting quarterbacks who played for the University of Alabama after receiving their undergraduate degrees have posted cumulative records of 26-4.
That little tidbit comes courtesy of former Alabama quarterback coach Dave Rader, who coached two of those quarterbacks (Brodie Croyle and John Parker Wilson) and recruited the third (Greg McElroy).
