Nick Saban’s new deal won’t be his last

Two million, three million, four million, five — what difference does it make? How much money does a college football coach need to make in a year?
Depending on whose list you use, Southern Cal’s Pete Carroll ended last year as the highest-paid coach in college football at $4.4 million per year, followed by Notre Dame’s Charlie Weis ($4.2 million), Florida’s Urban Meyer ($4.0), and Alabama’s Nick Saban ($3.9).
