Rebel faithful can’t wait for weekend
OXFORD — As the Ole Miss baseball team jogged out to center field to begin its stretching routine, about a half-dozen girls behind the right-field fence screamed “WE LOVE YOU JORDAN!” and then began giggling hysterically.
As expected, there was much hooting and hollering from the baseball team, with a sheepish grin from outfielder Jordan Henry as the stretching routine began.
Considering the popularity of baseball at Ole Miss, such a scene is not that strange. Except for one major difference.
