Krzyzewski making the right moves
DURHAM Shortly after his team’s humiliating, 27-point loss on Feb.4 at Clemson, Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski met with Duke students for a discussion on the program.
He told the students that the team was going to remember the despair of that night, use it as motivation and build off it.
Krzyzewski spent the next two weeks experimenting, moving away from his traditional man-to-man defense to a 1-3-1 zone trap, but that didn’t seem to work.
