New Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen wasted no time making his impact felt in state recruiting.
The Bulldogs, despite coming off a 4-8 season that included a blowout loss to Ole Miss, won the battle for the most elite state prospects on the Press-Register’s Fantastic 15.
Led by Yazoo City defensive end Fletcher Cox, the No. 2-rated prospect on the list, the Bulldogs signed six of the 15 top state prospects.
