NFL referee Ed Hochuli apologizing to Chargers fans via e-mail

Ed Hochuli is a stand up guy.
After blowing a call late in Sunday’s game that allowed the Broncos to rally and beat the Chargers, the long-time NFL referee admitted his mistake during the game and now is reportedly facing up to angry Chargers fans who have been flooding his e-mail with hate mail.

According to several Internet reports, Hochuli feels so badly about his mistake that he is taking the time to write these fans back.

“I’m getting hundreds of emails – hate mail – but I’m responding to it all.
