COG: State budget cuts could trickle down
Local legislative leaders met Monday to discuss how the decreased revenue collected by the state of Mississippi could affect things here at home. Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant recently had to make another round of state budget cuts.
One of the main topics of discussion for the Council of Governments involved how it might affect public schools and homeowners in the city of Meridian and Lauderdale County.
