Wicker to Unveil Innovative Approach to Fight Alzheimer’s
Miss. Senator Will Hold Press Conference on Sept. 22
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., has scheduled a press conference to unveil his legislative proposal to encourage breakthroughs in treating and potentially curing Alzheimer’s disease. The “Ensuring Useful Research Expenditures is Key for Alzheimer’s Act” (EUREKA) would authorize prize competitions to accelerate the development of disease-modifying treatments, means of prevention, or cures for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
