Magnolia, Miss. removes state flag
City of Magnolia officials voted to take down the State of Mississippi flag from all city buildings.
Mayor Anthony Witherspoon said the decision was in response to citizens who wanted the flag removed after a pro-flag protest was staged, WAPT reported.
