Columbus, Miss.)—Today, Boyce Adams, Republican candidate in Mississippi’s First Congressional District special election, released the following statement following yesterday’s election:
“I would like to sincerely thank all of the people who supported me in the election yesterday. I am forever grateful to the voters, volunteers, contributors and friends who came alongside me during this campaign to stand up for our conservative values. I also want to congratulate all of the other candidates in the race for running strong, competitive campaigns. Now is the right time for Republicans to join together to support Trent Kelly in the runoff to make sure he wins on June 2nd. I’m fully supporting Trent, and I’m confident he will use his experience to fight for our Mississippi values as our next Congressman.”
