Palazzo: Miss. should send troops to Texas border

U.S. Rep. Steven Palazzo told constituents Monday night that Gov. Phil Bryant should send National Guard troops to Texas to help with the border crisis.

The fourth district congressman said sending Mississippi National Guard troops to the Lone Star State would help Texas Gov. Rick Perry secure the border. The Republican congressman made the comments during a telephone town hall meeting in response to his thoughts on the border situation.
