Thompson announces $300K awarded to Cleveland for airport work
The U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded $300,000 through the Federal Aviation Administration to the city of Cleveland in Bolivar County to extend the taxiway at Cleveland Municipal Airport.
Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., announced the funding Friday.
This grant will provide federal funding for an extension of the taxiway will provide access to aircraft hangars. This project will fund design and construction of 450 feet of the taxiway extension.
