Palazzo: Amnesty “dead on arrival” in House
President Obama said in his weekly radio address that the immigration reform bill being considered in the Senate would be good for the country. A vote to proceed on the bill is expected Tuesday.
“The bill before the Senate isn’t perfect,” Obama said, “…but it is a bill that’s largely consistent with the principles I’ve repeatedly laid out for commonsense immigration reform.”
Congressman Steven Palazzo said any immigration bill which includes amnesty is quote, “dead on arrival” as far as he’s concerned. He said immigration reform should focus on border security first.
