Harrison – Gordon had major impact
JACKSON — In 1993-94, after Jack Gordon was defeated for re-election to the Senate District 8 seat, he would exercise on a regular basis at the Wellness Center in Tupelo.
He did not play around when he worked out. He was serious about exercise — just as he was about politics.
He would exercise non-stop and he would talk politics non-stop. He actually considered running for a statewide post, but when Crowell Armstrong, who had defeated him, changed parties, Gordon saw an opening.
