Bondurant: I Don’t Know Answers Don’t Cut It
Writing on his Facebook wall, Rep. Sid Bondurant (R-Grenada), who is one of two announced candidates for Speaker of the House, urged all voters to press their representatives on whom exactly they will be supporting for Speaker. Here is part of what Bondurant said:
“All voters get to vote for the Governor and the Lieutenant Governor but only members of the House of Representatives get to vote for the Speaker of the House. That is why it is so important that you know who your Representative supports for the Speaker post. Vague or ‘I don’t know yet’ type answers don’t cut it. The vote for Speaker is the first vote a Representative makes after the election and is the most important one he or she will make for four years.”
