Barbour ‘all shook up’, donned with Elvis shades by Steve Holland
Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour briefly channeled his inner Elvis after a Democratic lawmaker trotted after him and popped a pair of gold-rimmed Elvis Presley sunglasses onto the Republican’s face.
The surprise gesture Wednesday by Rep. Steve Holland was all in good humor as part of a Tupelo tourism promotion at the Mississippi Capitol.
The northeast Mississippi city is birthplace of the king of rock ‘n’ roll.
