Senator Wicker guest speaker at Tea Party event
Mississippi Senator Roger Wicker addressed the Tea Party during their monthly meeting at Northwest Rankin High School in Brandon.
Three weeks before the November elections the senator told the conservative group that the Obama administration and Washington’s super majority must be stopped.
“We need to end the arrogance in Washington D.C. We thought the American people had spoken in Virginia and New Jersey and the Massachusetts senate race. They were sending a message against this healthcare bill,” said Wicker.
The junior senator also said congress left without passing an appropriations bill, a budget or extending the bush era tax cuts.
