Wicker: Little to no stimuli in ‘stimulus’
A Republican member of the U.S. Senate describes the Obama stimulus efforts as a colossal failure.
Speaking Friday at a White House news conference, President Obama said his entire economic agenda is designed to stimulate growth and create jobs, despite his administration’s reluctance to call his new proposals a “stimulus plan.” Some administration officials do not want to call the proposals a “stimulus” out of concern it brings to mind the $814-billion stimulus Congress approved last year.
Speaking last week on American Family Radio’s Today’s Issues program, Senator Roger Wicker (R-Mississippi) called the stimulus a colossal failure.
