MS-01: Alan Nunnelee downplayed expectations in that article by saying that his goal was to lead the ticket, adding, “The mathematics of a three-way primary make it very hard to win it outright.”

MS-01: The Desoto Times Tribune posted a story yesterday following an interview with the three First District candidates. They posted links to their responses in that story.

MS-01: John Anzalone, who is a pollster for Travis Childers (and other Democrats), offered some interesting insight on Childers, Southern Democrats, and 2010. When asked about the national mood, he doesn’t think it will swing already conservative district stating: “It has nothing to do with the national Democratic Party. It has everything to do with them being conservative and independent and the things they do parochially for their districts. So those races will actually be more similar to their races in the past.”
