The Mississippi Disaster Recovery Fund has been set up by Governor Haley Barbour to serve as the state’s central clearinghouse for corporations, organizations, and individuals to make financial donations to the thousands of Mississippians who are recovering from the devastation of the spring storms of April 24, 2010, Hurricane Katrina and other natural disasters.
Many individuals, companies, and volunteers are stepping forward in big ways to help Mississippians. If you would like to join us in this overwhelming challenge, we appreciate everything you can offer. We will carefully match your donations or offers of volunteers and time with the needs of our citizens and communities as directed by FEMA and MEMA.
