DesotoVoter: I hope the GOP is prepared to help us
In a comment to a story that briefly mentions that Alan Nunnele has a strong base, frequent commenter desotovoter writes:
I watched non-stop Childers television spots for about two days on Fox News about two weeks ago. I received a mailer for Childers about three weeks ago. I cannot even begin to imagine how much money the dems are going to spend in the 1st congressional district when the race really starts.
desotovoter ends his comment with a point that is others have also pointed out. Winning the 1st District will be tough for Nunnelee without money from the GOP. It’s a winnable race for Nunnelee, so we’ll see what the NRCC does.
