May 19 runoff likely for Ward 6 seat
It’s hard to stand out in a crowd of 13.
When Ward 6 Councilman Marshand Crisler decided not to seek re-election and run for mayor, a flood of people stepped up to try to replace him.
The list includes former city employees, educators, a fast-food worker and a graduate student. The winner of the Democratic primary likely will be settled in a runoff on May 19. The winner then will face independent candidate Samuel Kazery in the June 2 general election.
