Sen. Thad Cochran buried previous concerns about Sen. John McCain’s temper Thursday to endorse the Arizona Republican in his quest for the White House.
The endorsement came just hours after Cochran’s previous choice for the GOP nomination, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, dropped out of the race. Romney had a poor showing in the Super Tuesday nominating contests.
“I’ll turn to John McCain now and support his candidacy,” said Cochran, a Republican.
