More on Peter’s undercover role in Eaton Corp. v. Frisby
Jerry Mitchell hands in an excellent account of a hearing Monday in which special master Larry Latham resigned in the Eaton case because he realized that questions had been raised about whether Ed Peters’s involvement in the case was irregular, and Peters had contacted Latham. “‘I stepped up to the plate and did what I needed to do,’ Madison lawyer Larry Latham said Tuesday in explaining why he turned in his resignation.” The story notes that DeLaughter (on his own motion) had removed the prior special master on October 29th. Four days prior to that, testified Latham, Peters called Latham about being the new special master.
