We’ve written about a motion filed in a case called Eaton Corp. v. Frisby which raises questions about the off-the-record involvement of Ed Peters in a case before Judge Bobby DeLaughter. The questions echo the government’s facts in the guilty plea of Joey Langston. We’ve also discussed another case, Kirk v. Pope, which raises similar questions.
The motion in Eaton raises a fourth case that has also raised some eyebrows, State v. Middleton.
