Moore opts not to seek Lott seat
Many Democrats also viewed the charismatic Moore as their best opportunity for victory.
“The man is in private law practice and he has a right not to run,” said state Rep. Steve Holland, D-Plantersville. “But I think he might have been the best horse we had, so we had better start corn-feeding another pony.”
