Who let the dogs out? Not John Arthur Eaves, Jr.
JACKSON (October 3, 2007) – Monday, as the National Rifle Association announced their endorsement of Governor Haley Barbour for reelection, John Arthur Eaves attempted to portray himself as a sportsman by listing organizations that support him. Today, one of those organizations, The Mississippi Dog Hunters Association, released a statement saying that is not true.
“Governor Barbour earned the endorsement of the National Rifle Association. When Mr. Eaves tried to respond, he made a claim that wasn’t true. It’s clear that when it comes to John Arthur Eaves, that dog won’t hunt,” said Brian Perry, spokesman for Barbour for Governor.
