Senator Terry Brown and Representative Gary Chism showed up at Tuesday’s Lowndes County Republican Women meeting to clear up a few things about recent legislation and show support for a fellow Republican, Mississippi Attorney General candidate Al Hopkins.
The meeting allowed Hopkins to share his platform, but also helped give members a better understanding of two hot issues in state politics, the grocery/tobacco tax swap and the new sexual predator legislation, Jessica’s Law.
