Interim State Health Officer Ed Thompson vowed Monday to revive faith in an embattled Health Department that once drew national accolades.
“The first thing we will do is restore public trust in this agency – that’s job one,” Thompson said after the state Board of Health appointed him Monday to replace State Health Officer Brian Amy.
