The Mississippi Development Authority announced Thursday that Bishopric Industries, formerly Enerfab Process Solutions, is expanding operations in Natchez.
The company is investing $5.75 million in an effort to meet increased demand through the construction of a new storage facility, the addition of manufacturing equipment, expanded storage areas, gravel and drainage improvements and the installation of new gas and water lines.
The expansion is said to be creating 28 new jobs.

MDA noted that the Natchez facility is a major heavy industrial fabrication operation, serving as a hub for the engineering and production of heavy process equipment, large steel components and modular project solutions.
Governor Tate Reeves welcomed the announcement, saying, “Mississippi is a state where businesses can invest with confidence, grow and succeed. Bishopric Industries’ expansion is another example of the historic economic development success we’re seeing across Mississippi. Our industrial sector is already strong, and this project will make it even stronger. Bishopric Industries’ continued growth in Natchez is another win for Mississippi.”
The Mississippi Development Authority said the state agency is providing assistance through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive, or MFLEX, program, as well as assistance for site improvements, while Adams County is also assisting with the project.
