Mississippi Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee (MARPAC), the political arm of the Mississippi REALTORS®, announces its endorsement of Mike Chaney’s re-election for Insurance Commissioner.
Mississippi’s REALTOR® Party is a powerful alliance of REALTORS® working to advance public policies and candidates that build strong communities, protect property interests, and promote a vibrant business environment. MARPAC Committee Chairman, Ellen Short, cited Chaney’s dedication and loyalty to consumers as the primary reason for their support.
“From his service as a member of the House of Representatives and the State Senate, Commissioner Chaney has proven to be a true friend and supporter of REALTOR® priorities. As Commissioner of Insurance, Mike Chaney works closely with members of the Mississippi REALTORS® on programs such as flood insurance policy, catastrophe savings accounts, and homeowners insurance. While the Mississippi REALTORS® work closely with the Insurance Commissioner on policies that impact property owners, our shared commitment for consumer protection and business development are most valuable. The Mississippi REALTORS® are proud to offer their endorsement of Mike Chaney’s re-election bid for Insurance Commissioner.”
The general election for Insurance Commissioner of Mississippi will be held on November 5, 2019.
