Trump Victory Welcomes Dane Maxwell as Mississippi State Director

By: Frank Corder - August 10, 2020

Today, Trump Victory, the joint political operation between the Trump Campaign and the Republican National Committee, announced the addition of Dane Maxwell to its team in Mississippi.

Maxwell will serve as the Mississippi State Director, helping to organize non-battleground activities into battleground states.

“It is an honor to serve on the team that will re-elect President Trump in November,” Maxwell said. “Voters are extremely enthusiastic about the President and, thanks to Trump Victory’s superior infrastructure, we will harness that enthusiasm and translate it into action.”

Maxwell previously served on the 2016 Trump Campaign in a number of roles including Mississippi’s State Director, Southeast Political Director and the SEC Strike Force Team Leader.

Additionally, he was a delegate at the 2016 Republican National Convention and is a delegate for the 2020 Republican National Convention.

“We are excited to welcome Dane to the Trump Victory team. His knowledge and expertise will be invaluable in re-electing President Trump, as well as Republicans up and down the ballot,” said Chris Carr, Trump Victory Political Director.

Currently, Maxwell is the Public Service Commissioner for Mississippi’s Southern District and the former Mayor of Pascagoula. He is also a member of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners and has been appointed Vice Chair of the Washington Action Committee, and is a member of the Clean Coal Subcommittee.

Maxwell has been actively involved in local, state and national politics for over 40 years.
