The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum Reopens Today Following Closure Due to COVID-19

Today, the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum opens its facilities following closure due to COVID-19. The Museum will resume normal operating hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

“I’m glad to welcome visitors back to the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum,” said Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson. “We want everyone to enjoy the outdoor experience and open-air exhibits offered, particularly the newborn lambs of the Children’s Barnyard.”

The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum is following the regulations, orders and guidelines in accordance to the Governor’s mandate to ensure safety and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Social distancing is required throughout the campus, personal protective equipment (PPE) is encouraged and hand sanitizer is provided.
