Chism, Hall headline Bloomberg for President Mississippi team

By: Frank Corder - January 30, 2020

Democratic Presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg has announced his Mississippi staff.  Among those are a few names Mississippi political observers will recognize.

Brad Chism of Chism Strategies will serve as the campaign’s senior strategist.  Chism is best known for this work in providing polling for Democratic candidates and causes, most recently partnering with Millsaps College for periodic polling. The team recently looked at the 2020 Senate matchup between U.S. Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith and Mike Espy and rated where citizens stood on issues such as health care, infrastructure, and changing the state constitutional provision on the election of the Governor.

Also of note is Sam Hall, the former Executive Editor of the Clarion Ledger.  He will serve as the Communications Director for the Bloomberg campaign in Mississippi.  Hall is a former Executive Director of the Mississippi Democratic Party and has been involved in left leaning PACs and Democrat campaigns.

Others on the Bloomberg leadership team in the Magnolia State have worked for either the state at some point or for a current or former Democratic campaign in Mississippi.

The complete Bloomberg for President Mississippi team is listed below:

Pamela Shaw, State Director
Brad Chism, Senior Strategist
Brittany Gray, Organizing Director
Teresa Jones, Political Director
Emily Liner, Digital Director
Sam Hall, Communications Director
Ryan Brown, Operations Director
Reid Haynie, Data Director
Jarrius Adams, North Regional Director
Anthony Jackson, Central Regional Director

The team says they are opening three offices across the state in the lead up to the March 10th Primary.
