Runoff candidates make final speeches to the public before the polls open

Candidates vying for the Republican nomination in their respective races spoke in Ridgeland to the Madison County Republican Women’s group. Those who spoke included Bill Waller Jr for Governor, Andy Taggart for Attorney General and Lynn Fitch for Attorney General. Tate Reeves, who is also running for Governor, was not present, but his wife Else spoke on his behalf.

The polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. The winner of these races will represent the Republican Party on the ballot in November’s General Election.
