Maxwell was the Mississippi State Director and Southern Regional Political Coordinator for President Trump’s campaign in 2016.  He was also a member of the Mississippi delegation to the 2016 RNC convention in Cleveland.

Maxwell currently serves as the mayor of Pascagoula.
