MARPAC Endorses Judge Jeff Weill for the Mississippi Court of Appeals

By: Courtney Ingle - September 25, 2018

The Mississippi Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee (MARPAC) Trustees voted, unanimously, to endorse Judge Jeff Weill for the Mississippi Court of Appeals.

One of the principal objectives of MARPAC is to support candidates for election to legislative, judicial, and executive offices of the state of Mississippi without regard to party affiliation, who by their activities, personal conduct and records of performance have demonstrated concern for and interest in the preservation of real property rights, the integrity of real estate brokering as an independent profession, and the legal and economic rights of the real estate industry.

“The Mississippi Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee (MARPAC) is proud to endorse Judge Jeff Weill for the Mississippi Court of Appeals,” said David Stevens, Chairman of MARPAC. “Throughout his numerous years serving as a Circuit Judge, State Court Prosecutor, Criminal Investigator, and City Councilman, Judge Weill has demonstrated his commitment to upholding the constitution with integrity.  Judge Jeff Weill has a proven track record of fair rulings as a Circuit Judge and I am confident his experience, impartiality, and work ethic will be valuable additions to the Mississippi Court of Appeals.”

Judge Jeff Weill grew up in Tylertown, Mississippi. He is a Harvard trained mediator and Adjunct Professor at Mississippi College School of Law. He has over 30 years of litigation experience and has tried more criminal jury trials than any other Hinds County Judge. He and his wife, Tracy, have three sons and attend Covenant Presbyterian Church. He and his family are active in foreign missions, Community Stewpot, Billy Brumfield house, and Mission Mississippi.
