Michael Guest endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Businesses

By: Courtney Ingle - August 20, 2018

(Brandon, Miss.)—The National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) has endorsed 3rd Congressional District Republican nominee Michael Guest in his campaign.

In a letter to Michael Guest, NFIB stated, “As the voice of small business, NFIB knows that good small business policy starts with electing good small business candidates. Therefore, your election is critical to the small businesses in your district, and we look forward to working with you on the issues most important to them – health care, regulations, and taxes.”

Michael Guest stated, “This endorsement is an important milestone in our campaign because small business is the backbone of our economy. Small businesses recognize that supporting lower taxes and fewer regulations allows them to grow, create jobs and flourish. If elected, I will work to support job-friendly policies that lead to more opportunities and economic growth in our state and our country, and that means carefully examining the impact that any legislation may have on our small businesses.”

As the largest small business association in the United States, NFIB promotes the rights of individuals to own, operate, and grow their businesses. With offices in Washington, D.C. and all 50 state capitals, NFIB works to advocate on behalf of America’s small and independent business owners.
