WJTV – Yall Politics releases polling numbers in Mississippi congressional races

A congressional poll conducted by Ya’ll Politics shows who is favored in each of the state’s four congressional districts. Additional information allows people to see a side by side by side comparison of candidate rating versus presidential approval rating in the district.

In the Third Congressional District, voters surveyed chose Republican nominee Michael Guest (R) by a huge majority of fifty-six percent (56.11%). He faces Michael “Ted” Evans (D) who showed twenty-six percent (26.87%) of the vote as the Democratic nominee. Seventeen percent (17.02%) of voters remain undecided.

A Republican State Senator from Pascagoula is running for Secretary of State next year.

Michael Watson announced just last Friday he will seek that office.

He spoke to a meeting of Jones County Republican Women in Laurel Wednesday.
