Mississippi revenue collections are up for yet another month

The July 2018 Revenue Report has been released by the Mississippi Joint Legislative Budget Committee.

Total revenue collections have been up for several consecutive months now, and the run continues for the month of July FY 2019 and Fiscal YTD 2019. Through July reports are $9,751,129 or 3.18% above the sine die estimate. Fiscal YTD total revenue collections through July 2018 are $7,733,596 or 2.51% above the prior year’s collections.

As of July 31, 2018, total revenue collections for the Fiscal Year 2018 were $5,691,651,000 compared to the Sine Die Revenue Estimate of $5,601,500,000. An additional $2,052,042 in revenue was collected in July for FY 2018.
