The June 26 runoff for two Mississippi elections is just around the corner. For the Third District Congressional race there are two Republican candidates that will face off, and two Democratic candidates running in the U.S. Senate race.
Today, you’ll meet Democratic candidate David Baria who is running for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Senator Roger Wicker. Baria is a Jackson County resident. He has been practicing law for over 25 years across the state of Mississippi. Baria has been a member of the House of Representatives since 2008.
Over the next few weeks Y’all Politics will highlight some of the candidates who will be on the ballot at the end of June. The winner of each runoff will advance to the November election.
