A bill in the House, authored by Rep. Earle Banks would require that all Mississippi State Fair workers take a drug test before they are allowed to operate rides.
House Bill 676
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
- SECTION 1. (1) As a condition of being employed to operate any amusement ride at the Mississippi State Fair, the Mississippi Fair Commission shall require each person who is to operate an amusement ride at the fair to submit to and pass a drug test administered no less than five (5) days before the opening date of the fair.
